Sensitive Approaches to Intermedial Storytelling: Environments, Devices, Narrative Modes and Archives in Exhibition Design.
This in-depth exploration with the historic Milanese artistic research group Studio Azzurro investigates the potential of sound within interactive and installation environments, and examines narrative devices and forms of relationship with archival materials in exhibition design. Founded in 1982 by Fabio Cirifino, Paolo Rosa and Leonardo Sangiorgi, with Stefano Roveda joining in 1995
and leaving in 2011, Studio Azzurro has created experiences that explore the poetic and expressive potential of new technologies. The talk will also feature Alberto Morelli, a musician and composer who has collaborated with Studio Azzurro for many years on soundtracks.
