Training experience in Zagreb: Students from the Lecce Conservatory try their hand at recording an OPV concert

On 12 November, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, conducted by Maestro Marcello Bufalini, performed in Zagreb in a concert organised by the “Bonporti” Conservatory of Trento and Riva del Garda, in collaboration with the Academy of Music – University of Zagreb, and promoted by SISS.

The Riccardo Zandonai International Study Centre in Rovereto is one of the SISS project’s prestigious collaborations.

Federica Fortunato highlights Zandonai’s turn to cinema in the 1930s, when disillusionment with the theatre led him to embrace film as a modern art form. His work on Amami Alfredo reveals the tension between artistic ambition and cinematic spectacle, preserved today in rare manuscripts held in Rovereto.
