From February 27 to March 1, 2026, Lecce will host IMAGINARY LANDSCAPES, a three-day program dedicated to experimental music, audiovisual arts, and new media, presented at Castello Carlo V.

The program unfolds as an integrated exhibition and performance framework, featuring audiovisual installations, fixed-media works, live performances, and concerts developed within the SISS project. Throughout the three days, the exhibition presents installations and screenings by Italian and international artists, students, and institutions, alongside sound installations distributed across the architectural spaces of the Castle.

Highlights include the world premiere of WEAKONTOLOGY, a newly commissioned audiovisual work by Franz Rosati, presented as a live performance and installation, as well as the presentation of selected works from the international SISS Open Call and AFAM commission. The program also features a concert by renowned composer Pierre Jodlowski for instruments, electronics, and video.

Live performances and concerts take place each evening, involving composers, performers, and visual artists, with contributions from Italian conservatories, academies, and international partners. IMAGINARY LANDSCAPES offers an immersive journey through sound, image, and space, exploring contemporary approaches to audiovisual storytelling and experimental artistic practices.
